AmberContrast Mega Magnifier with LED Light? On the back of the magnifier (where the LED light is) you will see a tiny tab. If you pull the tab town towards the bottom of the magnifier's handle, the battery compartment on the front of the magnifier (the side without the LED) will open. You will need 2 AA batteries.
Bookmark Book Light?
To replace the batteries, position the light so the LED bulb is facing you. Directly below the LED bulb is a small battery cover that has an arrow pointing down on it. Press down on this arrow to remove the battery cover. Replace the old batteries with two new CR 2032 batteries. Make sure to stack one top of the other with the positive side facing up on both. Then replace the battery cover.
Disney Sculpted Reading Lights? Hold your light so that the LED light is facing you. Below the light you will see a round panel. Below that panel are the batteries. In order to open the battery panel you will need a small Phillips head screwdriver like one you would find in a glasses repair kit. The panel will open up to show you the 2 CR2016 which both sit with the positive side facing out.
Flex Neck? You will need a small Phillips head screwdriver like one you would find in a glasses repair kit. On the back of the clip for your flex neck, you will see a small panel with two screws. Underneath this panel is the battery compartment. You will need 2 CR2032 batteries. Open this compartment and replace the batteries with the + side facing down. If you have a Flex Neck Tech (Soft Touch) or USB Flex Neck, you can use a coin to rotate the battery compartment open. These batteries will have the + facing up. Replace the cover.
Folding Magnifier with LED Light?
Hold your Folding Lighted Magnifier with the LED light facing up and the
handle facing towards you. The battery compartment is inside of the
handle. You will see an arrow and the words OPEN. Slide the handle
towards yourself (in the direction of the arrow). You will need 2 AAA
batteries.
Pocket Magnifier with LED Light? You will need a small Phillips head screwdriver like one you would find in a glasses repair kit. With your pocket magnifier laying flat with the LED bulb facing up, pull the magnifier from the top and bottom to reveal the silver/grey middle section. You should see a panel with one screw. Underneath this panel is the battery compartment. You will need 2 CR1130 batteries. Open this compartment and replace the batteries with the + on the left and the - on the right. Replace the cover.
Portable Magnifier with LED Light? You will need a small Phillips head screwdriver like one you would find in a glasses repair kit. Open this compartment and replace the batteries with the + side facing up.
Relight Rechargeable Book Light?
Unfold the Relight so the book clip is facing upwards towards you. The book clip is also the battery door cover. Slide the battery door open by pushing down and out. Insert the two new LIR 2450 rechargeable batteries with (+) side facing up. Slide the battery door closed.
Rimless Magnifier with LED Light?
Hold your magnifier parallel with the floor with the handle facing you and the LED bulb pointing straight down. The battery compartment is inside of the left side of the silver handle. To open it, slide the left side of the handle towards yourself. You will need 3 LR1130 batteries.
Slim Light?
Hold your LED light so that when it is closed, you can see the LED lights facing up and the clip is closest to you. Push the clip out a little bit so that it is raised away from the frame of the book light. With your thumb, slide the clip away from you and the battery compartment should open. You will need 2 CR2450 batteries. The + will face up.
Spike Light?
Hold your Spike Light by the base where you attach it to your book. You will see 3 separate pieces: the top where the light stems from, a thin section where the “spike” is attached and the bottom cylinder where the battery is located. Hold the top two sections stationary as you turn the bottom section clockwise. The battery compartment should easily open. If it turns and does not open, then recheck that you are holding the top two sections stationary. You will need one AAA battery. The positive side of the battery will face up.
Timer Book Light? Hold your LED light so that when it is closed, you can see the LED lights facing up and the clip is closest to you. Push the clip out a little bit so that it is raised away from the frame of the book light. With your thumb, slide the clip away from you and the battery compartment should open. You will need 2 CR2450 batteries. The + will face up.
TwinLight?
To replace the batteries, go to the base of the light where the clip and on/off button are located. On the bottom of the light, you will feel two small, raised buttons on either side of the base. Press in on both at the same time and pull down. This will release the battery compartment. Please pay close attention to how the positive and negative sides of the batteries fit in to the compartment. Slide the batteries back into the compartment to close.
Verso Arc Light? Fully charge light before first use. To charge, insert small end of USB charging cord (included) into micro USB port. Insert large end into any USB port or wall charger with USB port (not included). Charging indicator light is red while charging and green when fully charged.
Verso Clip Light? Turn the light so the LED bulb is facing you. Just below the LED bulb, is an arrow pointing down. This is the battery compartment. Push down on the arrow until the battery compartment slides off. Replace the old batteries with two new CR 2032 batteries. Make sure to stack one on top of the other with the positive side facing up on both. Then replace the battery cover.
Verso Wrap Light? Fully charge light before first use. To charge, insert small end of USB charging cord (included) into the micro USB port. Insert large end into any USB port or wall charger with USB port (not included). Charging indicator light is red while charging and green when fully charged.
Q: How do I turn my product on and off?
If your light does not turn on after following these directions, please check your batteries. If this does not resolve the problem, contact us.
Bookmark Light?
Remove the plastic strip surrounding the head of the light. Turn the
head of the light over until you see a round metallic button. Push the
metallic button on the head of the light and it will turn on. Push again
to turn off.
Disney Sculpted Reading Lights? First remove the plastic tab sticking outside of the battery compartment when you take the light out of packaging. The plastic strip is located next to the LED light. On the top of the light is an on/off slide switch that is in the shape of a Disney character. Push the slide towards the light to turn it on and pull it back to turn it off.
Flex Neck?
There is a button on the back of the section with the LED bulbs. When pressed, the light should turn on and off.
Folding Magnifier with LED Light? There is a button on the hinge of the handle. The light will turn on and off when this button is pressed.
LightWedge 2.0? Turn book light on by pushing on/off button in the center of the handle. Push once more for a dimmer light setting. Push a third time to turn it off.
LightWedge Original and Paperback? There is a button on the handle. With the handle on the left, slide the button down.
Pocket Magnifier with LED Light? When you slide the magnifier away from the handle, the LED should turn on.
Portable Magnifier with LED Light?
Pull the clear magnifier portion out from the cover to the right or the left and the light will automatically turn on. Push it back into the cover and it will turn off.
Rimless Magnifier with LED Light?
There is a button on the top of the handle. Slide the button towards the magnifying glass.
Slim Light? If you have just purchased your LED light, check in the battery compartment to remove the plastic strip that is possibly still there. The button is located on the top of the light. For 1 LED Slim Light, it only has one light setting.
Spike Light?
There is a button on the back of the section with the LED bulbs. Slide the button away from the neck of the light.
Timer Book Light?
If you have just purchased your LED light, check in the battery compartment to remove the plastic strip that is possibly still there. Pull on the top portion of the light to turn it on. You can press the small button beneath the digital timer display to set the timer for 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. The light will turn off when the timer runs out, or when you press the top of the light down.
TwinLight? Make sure you have installed 2 AAA batteries before trying to turn on your new book light. Battery installation directions are above. To turn on your light, go to the base of the light where the clip is located. On the other side of the clip is a metallic finish with a black button in the middle of it. Press the button once to turn on and press again to turn off.
Verso Arc Light? Slide light onto top center of e-reader. Turn light on by gently lifting the arm up and towards you. Once released, the arm will glide open on its own to optimal position. (Please note- Do not overextend arm.)
Verso Clip Light? The on and off button is located on the head of the light on the opposite side of the LED bulb. Press once to turn on and a second time to turn off.
Verso Wrap Light? Slide the light onto top center of e-reader. Uncoil adjustable neck and position LED light where desired. Press the on/off button located directly in the middle of the base.

LightWedge 2.0? Fully charge the book light before first use. To charge, insert the small end of USB charging cord (included) into the micro USB port or wall charger on end of handle. Insert large end into any USB port or wall charger with USB port (not included). Check charging indicator light on handle for charging status. Light is amber when charge is required, red while charging, and green when fully charged. Remove charging cord when light is green.
ReLight? To charge your ReLight, insert the bottom of the light into the charging station and plug the AC adapter into the wall outlet. Be sure to fully charge the ReLight before the first use. The ReLight will be fully charged in three hours. The charger will stop charging when the batteries are fully charged. The two 3.6V LIR 2450 batteries will last at least 500 charging cycles. Please note, repeatedly recharging a partially full battery will reduce its overall lifespan.

Verso Arc Light?
Choose cuff designed for your e-reader. If your e-reader is not listed below, use the cuff that fits most securely. Slide cuff onto base of light, as shown. The cuff will snap securely into place.
