perfect gift for a traveler. I bought this cover for a friend's new kindle which will be traveling half way 'round the world with her. She loved it! The color is a brilliant light and darker, rose pink. It has a good surface feel: smooth, softly firm and enough "tooth" to keep the kindle and cover from slipping out of your grasp. Perfect. I received my Kindle as a gift this past Christmas and, since I travel alot, immediately began looking for a case that would protect it when it's in my luggage, purse, computer case. I'm very picky and what was available then just didn't meet what I wanted. I wanted a cover that felt like a book, and because I'm one of those people that folds the front cover around to the back, I wanted a cover that would do that but not have that weird binding strip that made one side thicker than the other. I wanted a cover that had a flexible binding and folded flat. This Verso Kindle cover is absolutely perfect! Lightweight, folds the way I want it to, and has a pocket in the inside - perfect for those boarding passes, etc. I'm recommending this cover to my mom, who's been looking for a similar cover, and to anybody I know that has a Kindle. - Amanda
