Snazzy Cover!
This is a nice cover feels good in your hands. The spine is a dark tan color which I couldn't see in the photo before purchase. At first the red and tan looked sort of odd to me but it grew on me in the hour or so I had it out of the box. The corner straps that will hold your device in place are well built. They have heavy elastic (well anchored) on one side and on the other there is a grippy-gel stuff that keeps things from even thinking about slipping. I was surprised by how you could fold the front completely around to the back for one-handed reading. Nice to hold, look at and use. - By Garth S
Fabulous! Beautiful Design
I almost didn't buy this cover because of some of the reviews. I am so glad that I went with my gut instinct and bought it. It is everything I wanted in a Kindle Fire cover. First, and foremost, it absolutely fits the Kindle Fire. No gaps or loose straps or anything bad. It closes just like a book and when I put it on the shelf next to my antique leather bound books, it looks just like them. I agonized for two weeks over which Kindle and which cover to purchase. I read almost every review. I did my research. But there was something so appealing about this cover. I like antique books, actually love them. I was so afraid after reading the negative reviews that I almost didn't buy it. But, once it arrived and I slipped the Kindle Fire into it, I loved it. It felt like leather with suede on the inside, with even a little pocket to keep receipts, etc. The stitching was perfect and the design impeccable. Oh, and best of all it fits perfectly into my purse. If you love a cover that looks like a real book and not an overpriced cloth notebook, you'll want this one. -By Joy
Lovely, high-quality case IThis looks and feels even better than I expected...I know it's not real leather, but it's soft and doesn't have a vinyl look (or smell) at all. I always look at stitching on things like this as a measure of quality, and it is flawless. The bands are snug but I didn't feel like I was overstretching them, and the Fire feels very secure in the case. The microfiber inside is soft and lint-free. The cover did not close flat immediately (something I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't read the other reviews), but after leaving it face-down for a few hours it is perfect. The contrasting tan color of the spine complements the red very nicely, and I love having a Kindle that now looks and feels very much like a quality antique book. - By Joy Woller, Antioch, IL USA
NOT just for Kindle Fire
This is the coolest Kindle cover I've seen and I love it! It feels very sturdy and it looks SO classy - makes me feel like less of a traitor to my "real" books ;) I haven't a clue why Amazon lists this just for the Kindle Fire! All the other sites I've checked out (including the manufacturer) specifically say it is for most Kindle devices. Go to lightwedge.com for a complete list of devices and covers they carry. They are all pretty cool! There is a faint smell (from the suede on the inside I think) which is dissipating, but I actually don't mind it. I'm a big smell person and this reminds me of a comfy chair so it actually helps me get in the mood to read ;) The cover is definitely sturdy enough to flip over so that you can read it with one hand, but if you're going to buy an eReader cover that looks like a book, than read it like a book I say! Other than that - no surprises! It's exactly what it says it is: a sturdy, classy, quality built eReader case made for MANY Kindle devices that, I think, is very reasonably priced for what you're getting!
