Position Title: Sales/Marketing Account Manager
Location: Newton, MA

Position Summary
Account Manager, reporting to the VP Marketing, is responsible for providing sales and marketing support and account management tasks. Person should be a highly motivated, self-starter willing to dive in to all tasks and eager to learn in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Main duties include: serving as key internal liaison for strategic customer accounts, leading pre-meeting/proposal preparations, assisting with sales presentations and meetings, item/SKU set-up, account customer service, account growth, assisting marketing and product development team with customer-related projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary internal account contact for key LightWedge accounts
  • Maintain account sales forecasts and activity documentation in salesforce.com crm system
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to help facilitate the selling process including developing presentations and preparing sales samples for strategic accounts
  • Support sales team by completing vendor paperwork, sending samples, letters, catalogs, order forms, etc., to customers and sales team
  • Performs all necessary administrative duties for the LightWedge sales and marketing teams
  • Work closely with sales and marketing team to assist with new product launches and coordinate messaging for marketing to wholesale customers and prospects
  • Various special projects related to sales and marketing including mailings and trade show support

Skills Required:

  • Extremely detail-oriented, organized, self-starter, with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, follow-through skills and a positive attitude
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and produce results in entrepreneurial, fast-paced business environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handling several deadline projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and cooperatively in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently with a strong initiative to problem solve independently
  • Ability to manage projects with multiple tracks
  • Ability to create and modify marketing materials for marketing team and customers
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and high comfort level for researching on the internet, learning new database systems, etc.
  • Extremely proficient with customer relationship management software such as salesforce.com

Experience/Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree required. Several years professional Sales, Marketing and Account Management experience required.
